This Sunday we’ll close out our walk through Nehemiah with a message Pastor Mark has titled A Call to Obedience, from chapter 13. Nehemiah’s story doesn’t end with a neat bow. In fact, it points us to the daily work of staying faithful, even when it feels hard or when distractions creep in. Pastor Mark will be helping us see the dangers of complacency and compromise, and how easy it is to be pulled off course when our hearts grow tired. The encouragement is this: we don’t endure on our own. The strength to “keep on keeping on” comes from Jesus Himself. When our eyes stay on Him, we find what we truly need to keep the fire of our faith alive. We would love to share this time with you as we listen, learn, and lean on Christ together.
