This Sunday we’ll begin a new series called One Week Wonderings with a message Pastor Mark has titled The Call of Samuel, from chapter 3. Samuel’s story begins with a voice in the night, and the challenge of learning to recognize that it was God who was speaking. Pastor Mark will help us see the importance of listening with more than just our ears, of having people in our lives who point us toward the Lord, and of stepping into obedience when God calls. The encouragement is this: God is still speaking today, and like Samuel, we can learn to say, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” When our hearts are open, His voice becomes clear, and His leading becomes our strength. We would love to share this time with you as we listen, learn, and grow in hearing God’s voice together.
